045 Format Cells - Decimal Places -Fractions in Excel

To format cells in Excel to display decimal places as fractions, follow these steps:

1. Select the cells you want to format.

2. Right-click on the selected cells and choose "Format Cells" from the context menu.

3. In the Format Cells dialog box, go to the "Number" tab.

4. Under the "Category" list, select "Fraction".

5. Choose the desired fraction format from the Type list.

- If you want to display fractions as decimals, select a fraction type with decimal places.

- If you want to display fractions with a specific denominator, select a fraction type like "Up to one digit".

6. Click "OK" to apply the formatting to the selected cells.
