ROW and ROWS 

are functions in Excel that return the row number or number of rows in a range of cells.

ROW(cell) returns the row number of the specified cell. 

For example, the formula =ROW(A1) returns the number 1, which is the row number of cell A1.

ROWS(range) returns the number of rows in the specified range. For example, the formula =ROWS(A1:A10) returns the number 10, which is the number of rows in the range A1:A10.

COLUMN and COLUMNS 

are functions in Excel that return the column number or number of columns in a range of cells.

COLUMN(cell) returns the column number of the specified cell. For example, the formula =COLUMN(A1) returns the number 1, which is the column number of cell A1.

COLUMNS(range) returns the number of columns in the specified range. For example, the formula =COLUMNS(A1:A10) returns the number 1, which is the number of columns in the range A1:A10.

Multi-cell array formula is a formula that is entered in multiple cells and returns a result in each cell. To enter a multi-cell array formula, you must press Ctrl+Shift+Enter after typing the formula.
